About the role
This role combines deep technical expertise with client advisory skills. You will design lakehouse and analytics architectures, support discovery workshops, and help articulate the business value of modern data and AI platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architecture design sessions for cloud data platforms, lakehouses, and analytics modernization programs.
- Develop solution blueprints covering ingestion, governance, analytics, and AI integration patterns.
- Support proposals, RFIs, and technical presentations with clear, client-ready documentation.
- Guide data engineers and analytics consultants on scalable design decisions and best practices.
- Stay current with Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, and cloud AI services.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience across data engineering, analytics, and solution architecture.
- Proven ability to design end-to-end data platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for executive and technical audiences.
- Experience in consulting, systems integration, or professional services delivery.
Nice to have
- Databricks or cloud architect certifications.
- Pre-sales or client-facing architecture experience.
